Author Christine Ibbotson has been working the phones hard to get individual and small chain book stores to carry her “How to Retire Debt Free and Wealthy!”. It’s hard and time consuming but ultimately, the book is crawling its way across the province.
On Sept 27th, the Hamilton Children’s Aid Society will be holding their Childrens Wellness Conference from 9am to 4:30pm. This community event takes place at the ATrium in Burlington, 5420 North Service Rd. You can meet Stephen Gregory Brown, author of “Mindfulness of a Fly on the Wall” and get an autographed copy of the book. Partial proceeds go to the Childrens Aid Society.
“Children in today’s society are faced with a multitude of issues, both physical and mental,” says Brown. “I am hoping some of my experiences–outlined in the book–and the personal growth that grew from the experiences will help young people in their struggles.”
Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton is a leading advocate of safe family upbringings and educating the public as to the cause and signs of abuse toward children. Join the society–and Stephen–this Sat, Sept 29th and pick up your copy of “Mindfulness of a Fly on the Wall”
Publisher/Author, Robert J. Morrow had the privilege of joining his good friends Debbie Kerr and Renato Montaha, forming Team Southern Comfort, for an episode of surprise cooking on Chef Nicholas’s Bringing Hamilton and the World to You! cable show. Being the creator of Chef Artichoke Hart in New York Fried didn’t seem to help during the taping but thanks to his team mates, they created a pretty impressive dish in just 40 minutes. The show airs this fall. Details to follow.
Even though we broke temperature records in Waterdown (42 degrees C), Stephen Gregory Brown’s book launch was a success. The official launch included our 2-hour event at the Oh Canada Day Festival plus a 5-day FREE Kindle download promo, plus a lot of sharing on social media, leading up to the launch day.
Thanks to all those who bought the book. Stephen is thrilled with the launch and is excited about writing a sequel.
